During the weekend of January 8-10, Corpus Christi, Texas experienced a few things it hadn’t seen in quite some time. First, the temperature dropped to the low teens (the lowest it has been in 30 years), and second, a true ISCA car show was held in the city for the first time in ten years.

Show Producer Linda Perez was pleasantly surprised by the number of traveling car owners with 20 X 20 displays who braved the weather to compete in the inaugural Alama Hot Rod Parts AutoRama. Despite some last minute weather-related cancellations, there were plenty of local cars on display as well.

Linda Perez and her husband Tony have worked at car shows for nearly 35 years, and Halex Productions is truly a family affair. In Corpus Christi, Linda was assisted by her husband Tony, daughter Cyndi Ricks, granddaughters Haleigh and Lexie (HALEX), son-in-law Richard, sister Pam and brother-in-law Joe.
The Halex team would like thank everyone who helped with the show, especially Gordon Leland of Alamo Hot Rod Parts in San Antonio, whose support and sponsorship was integral in making the show happen. They look forward to seeing you next year at the 2nd Annual Alamo Hot rod Parts AutoRama.
