2018 ISCA Rule Book

The 2018 ISCA Rule Book has been posted. Please click on the Rule Book tab to read and/or download the new edition.

Here is a summary of the major changes:

1. Lowrider Classes must now have air bags, air ride or hydraulics front and rear and must be consistent with Lowrider styling.

2. Traditional Rod class names have been tweaked. There are now only three classes: Nostalgia Rod, Vintage Traditional Rod and Traditional Rod. All may be broken down into coupe, sedan, roadster or pickup at the show.

3. Major changes have been made to the Street Machine/Comp Category classes: All Street Machine classes from other Categories (Custom, Rod, Truck) have been moved to the Street Machine/Comp Category. Additionally, Class 3350.0 Super Street has been renamed Pro ET and Class 3360.0 Super Gas has been renamed Super Pro ET. A new Class, 3365.0 Super Comp, has been added. The explanatory paragraphs for Street Machine, Pro Street, Street Touring and Pro Touring have also been updated with regards to required components and features. Be sure to refer to pages 19 and 28-33 of the Rule Book to familiarize yourself with these changes.

4. In the 5177.0 Big Wheel Bike Category Class, bikes must now have an altered fork to accept the big front wheel.

5. An entry must have two Spot Checks to compete at the Finals — one during the season and one done at the Finals.

6. Under Restored Truck, both 2WD and 4WD entries are considered for this Class.

If you have any questions regarding these changes or other information in the Rule Book, feel free to contact one of the members of the Competition Committee listed on Page 2 of the Rule Book.
